Officers arrested Taichi Osanai, 39, for the sale of uncensored porn DVDs from inside an apartment in Edogawa Ward. A search of the premises revealed approximately 18,000 discs and dubbing equipment.
By law, films available in Japan are required to have genitalia properly censored.
Since January of 2008, the group has collected 350 million yen in revenue.
Three other members of the ring are expected to arrested and prosecuted.
