KANGAWA (TR) – Kanagawa Prefectural Police are investigating what is believed to be a murder-suicide case after finding two men dead and another unconscious inside a residence they share in Ayase City, reports TV Asahi (Dec. 4).

Just after midnight on Friday, police arrived at the residence, located in the Ogami area, and found the bodies of Eiji Kimura, 67, and his 40-year-old son with stab wounds to the stomach inside a bedroom. They were confirmed dead at the scene.

Another son, 37, was also found collapsed with a stomach wound. He remains in a coma after being transported to a nearby hospital.

At just after midnight, police received a call from a man who had claimed to have killed his brother and father and indicated he would take his own life as well, reports TBS News (Dec. 4).

When police arrived, the front door was locked. A blood-stained knife was found at the scene.

Police suspect that the youngest son killed his relatives before attempting suicide.
