KANAGAWA (TR) – Kanagawa Prefectural Police have arrested 31-year-old man believed to be behind a dozens of women’s underwear thefts in Kawasaki City, reports TBS News (May 8).

In January, Tomohiro Honma, a company employee, is alleged to have stolen 12 women’s undergarments from the first-floor balcony of a residence located in Takatsu Ward.

Honma, who has been charged with theft, admits to the allegations. “I like women’s underwear,” the suspect is quoted by officers from the Takatsu Police Station. “I did it to satisfy my sexual desire.”

Honma has also admitted to stealing women’s underwear in about 50 other incidents. A search of the suspect’s residence revealed approximately 200 women’s undergarments, including bras and underpants.
