CHIBA (TR) – Chiba Prefectural Police announced on Monday the bust of Chinese hostess clubs in Choshi City for violating immigration control laws, reports TV Asahi (June 2).

On Saturday night, officers raided three “snack” clubs, including Honey, and arrested manager Li Mingshu, 32, for employing female Chinese nationals residing in Japan on expired visas.

According to police, Li has admitted to the allegations, telling investigators that she mainly employees Chinese nationals staying in Japan illegally.

Police also arrested six hostesses. In February of last year, police launched an undercover investigation after receiving information about violations from the immigration bureau.
