AICHI (TR) – Aichi Prefectural Police are seeking the help of the public in locating a man who robbed a convenience store in Toyohashi City last week, reports Nippon News Network (Dec. 14).
At around 3:00 a.m. on December 14, the perpetrator entered an outlet of chain Circle K Sunkus in Nagasecho area and wielded a knife in front of a female cashier before demanding money.
The man then fled the scene after taking 140,000 yen in cash from a register.
In an image taken from surveillance camera footage taken inside the store that was released publicly by police, the man is seen wearing a green jacket and black mask. Believed to be in his 60s, he is of medium build and stands about 160 centimeters tall.
