HYOGO (TR) – Hyogo Prefectural Police have arrested a 49-year-old fisherman after he allegedly groped a woman inside a local amusement arcade, reports the Kobe Shimbun (Oct. 13).
According to the Sumoto Police Station, the suspect, a resident of Awaji City, is accused of grabbing the buttocks of a 31-year-old woman multiple times at an arcade in Sumoto City shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Monday. The victim had been visiting the establishment to play games at the time of the incident.
Following his arrest on suspicion of non-consensual indecency on Tuesday, the suspect fully admitted to the allegations during police questioning.
“There is no mistake that I touched her,” the man told investigators.
