NAGOYA (TR) – Aichi Prefectural Police on Wednesday busted a casino operating illegally in Naka Ward that likely benefited organized crime, reports NHK (Feb. 12).
At approximately 10:55 a.m., officers raided casino God, located in the Sakae entertainment area, and arrested Kazutoshi Iwai, the 34-year-old manager, and nine other employees for operating a wagering facility for profit.
Police also seized 60 slot machines, 10 personal computers, which were used for baccarat wagering, and nine million yen in cash. Five male customers, including a gang member, were also taken into custody on charges of illegal gambling.
