AICHI (TR) – Aichi Prefectural Police have arrested a 36-year-old man after the bodies of his parents were found inside the residence they shared in Nagoya’s Midori Ward last week.
On October 10, Keisuke Kita, of no known occupation, telephoned police. “I killed both of my parents,” he said.
Police officers arriving at the scene found the badly beaten bodies of his parents, father Yoshinori and mother Yumiko, both 61, inside the residence.
Based on the results of autopsies, the cause of death of both persons was traumatic shock, police said, reports Nagoya TV (Oct. 12).

That same day, police accused Keisuke of murdering his mother. He was prosecuted two days later.
Around October 9, he is alleged to have beaten his mother in the head and other parts of her body multiple times, causing her death.
When questioned, he partially denied the charges. “I hit her with a table leg. But I had no intention to kill her,” he said. “I was angry that she had spent the money I had saved.”
Keisuke was found to have cuts on both of his arms that appeared to have been made with a knife. He told investigators, “I tried to die, but was unable to do so.”
Police believe that Kita was also involved in the murder of his father. The investigation is ongoing.
