CHIBA (TR) – Police in Funabashi City have arrested seven people, including the alleged owner of a “men’s esthetic” massage parlor on suspicion of illegally providing sexual services to male customers earlier this year, reports the Sankei Shimbun (July 1).
On March 26 and April 3, Soshi Kuramochi, the suspected owner of the parlor dubbed Kamigami no Esute (Esthetics of the Gods), and six of his employees are accused of offering sexual services to multiple men earlier this year in an area strictly zoned against adult entertainment businesses.
Police did not reveal whether the suspects admit to the allegations.

The arrests have exposed a resilient and highly lucrative illicit network. Investigators believe the parlor is a rebranded branch of Kami no Esute (Esthetic of God), a widespread illegal sex parlor syndicate that operated across the Kanto region until it was targeted in a major police crackdown in February.
Following the February raids, the syndicate allegedly changed its name to evade authorities and brazenly continued operations, maintaining a sprawling network of more than 20 affiliated locations in Chiba Prefecture alone.
Investigators estimate the prostitution ring was raking in at least 10 million yen in monthly sales. Police are now conducting a thorough probe into the group’s financial flow and broader underground operations.
