NAGANO – Police here launched a homicide investigation after a woman and two teenagers were found dead inside a residence in the village of Achi on Tuesday, reports TV Asahi (May 5).
Just after 3:00 a.m., a teenage boy suffering from a head wound rushed into a local police box. “I was assaulted by my mother,” he told officers.
When police arrived at the family’s home to investigate the claim at around 8:00 a.m., they made the discovery. Officers found three bodies inside the residence, believed to be the mother, who was in her 50s, along with the family’s eldest daughter and second son, both in their teens.
The boy who fled to the police box is believed to be the family’s eldest son. The father was out of the house at the time of the attacks and has been confirmed safe.
Authorities are officially treating the deaths of the two teenage children as homicides. Police are currently analyzing the crime scene to determine the exact sequence of events that led to the incident.
