CHIBA (TR) – Chiba Prefectural Police have arrested a 51-year-old man for allegedly entering a women’s bath at a hotel in Chiba City while dressed as a woman over the weekend, reports TV Asahi (Apr. 13).
At just before 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, the unnamed man, who identified himself as a company employee, is suspected of entering the women’s bath at the hotel in Chuo Ward.
According to police, he entered the changing room dressed wearing a wig, high heels, a skirt and women’s underwear.
During questioning on suspicion of trespassing, the man admitted to the charges. “I wanted to experience what it’s like to be a woman,” he said. “I wanted to see a woman naked.”
The man was staying at the hotel. When the man entered, several women were in the changing room. The suspect, still in drag, then wandered around for approximately seven minutes.
A woman, feeling suspicious, reported him to the front desk. The hotel’s assistant manager called police to report the incident.
By the time police officers arrived, the man had returned to his hotel room.
Police are investigating whether he has committed any other crimes.
