TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a 30-year-old man who is suspected of using a hidden camera to secretly film him engaging in sex acts with women, reports Nippon News Network (Mar. 5).
In one case, Hiroyuki Suzuki is suspected of secretly recording lewd acts with a woman, aged in her twenties, using a camera disguised as a clock at his apartment in Kachidoki, Chuo Ward last October.
During questioning, Suzuki admitted to the charges, police said.
Suzuki, who met the woman on a dating app, installed the same type of camera in the changing room, bedroom and living room of his apartment.
The incident came to light when the woman became suspicious after Suzuki repeatedly tried to get her to face one of the cameras. She later contacted police.
Police have confirmed that videos of at least four other women secretly filmed have been found on the suspect’s seized smartphone. Police are continuing the investigation.
