TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a man from Fukuoka City for using social media to coerce a single mother in the capital to send him obscene videos of her two daughters in return for financial support, reports Nippon News Network (Feb. 5).
Between May and June of last year, Shuichi Akazaki allegedly instructed the 44-year-old woman during video calls to “show me your children’s underwear and naked bodies.”
According to police, the women then took nude videos of her eldest daughter, a 15-year-old middle school student, and second daughter, an 11-year-old elementary school student, and sent the footage to him.
Upon his arrest on suspicion of indecent assault without consent and other charges on February 3, Akazaki, who lives in Minami Ward, Fukuoka City, partially denied the allegations. “I saw images of her second daughter, but not the eldest,” the suspect said.
According to police, the man posted on social media, “Single mothers, I offer financial support.” For women who answered, he then lured them into a video call.
He allegedly offered to provide 700,000 yen for a 30-minute video if they took nude photos of their daughters and sent them to him. In the case of the Tokyo woman, no monetary payment was made.
On February 5, Tokyo police planned to refer the mother to the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office on suspicion of taking nude videos of her two daughters.
During voluntary questioning, the woman said, “I believed I would receive money if I followed the instructions. I didn’t respect my daughters’ feelings and forced them to do what I was told.”
The incident came to light when the eldest daughter consulted a teacher at her middle school.
