Kanagawa company manager suspected of lewd acts with female job seeker

KANAGAWA (TR) – Kanagawa Prefectural Police have arrested a male manager of a company for committing lewd acts on a female university student who came for an interview for a part-time job, reports Fuji News Network (July 9).

On a day in May, Kenichiro Yoshioka, the 27-year-old president of a company that installs factory equipment, is suspected of committing lewd acts by touching the upper half of the body of the student, 21, at the company’s office in Yamato City.

When questioned, Yoshioka admitted to the allegations, police said.

At one point during the interview, Yoshioka told the female university student, “Sit down for a moment.” After she sat on the floor, he proceeded to grope her.

After the incident, the female university student ran from the company to a nearby police station.
