TOKYO (TR) – The management agency of idol group D-style announced on Wednesday the indefinite suspension of a 21-year-old performer for working at a sex club in Kanagawa Prefecture, reports Yukan Fuji (Sep. 28).

Kokoro Haruno was employed at a “pink salon” in the Hon Atsugi area between February and July of last year. The revelations came via her Web site, which is now closed. “She supplied sexual services to a number of men,” the post on the site read.

A pink salon is a type of fuzoku (commercial sex) club that typically offers non-coital services. The club employing Haruno reportedly charged 6,000 yen for the first hour.

During an investigation conducted by her agency, Haruno said that she was employed at the club “to support her family” — a claim that proved to be untrue after a discussion with her mother. “She didn’t provide the family with a single yen,” her mother reportedly said.

D-style formed in May of 2011. That same year the foursome served as cheerleaders for baseball’s Chunichi Dragons club.

Haruno’s agency officially suspended and dismissed her in November of last year. A new member appeared on the group’s Web site in December.
