OKINAWA (TR) – Okinawa Prefectural Police on Sunday arrested a U.S. Navy sailor for allegedly raping a woman in Naha City, reports NHK (Mar. 13).

Between approximately 1:15 a.m. and 4:05 a.m. on Sunday morning, Justin Castellanos, a 24-year-old first-class seaman from Camp Schwab, is alleged to have sexually assaulted the woman, a tourist in her 40s from Fukuoka Prefecture, inside a room of a business hotel.

Castellanos, who was staying on the same floor as the woman, denies the charges. “This arrest is a mistake,” the suspect is quoted by police.

Prior to the incident, the woman had been out drinking. The suspect found the victim sleeping in a corridor of the hotel and brought her to his room where the alleged crime was committed. The woman then contacted an acquaintance who notified police.

Castellanos was not previously acquainted with the victim.

Before arresting Castellanos, police viewed security camera footage and spoke with hotel staff members to confirm that the suspect took the woman to his room, according to the Asahi Shimbun (Mar. 13).

  1. The title of this article does not correlate with what it says. First off it was “alleged” meaning it has yet to be proven in a court of law. Second, why is the title not something more like, “Sailor arrested and accused for alleged rape.” The rape charge was not proven yet, hence why it is alleged. Tokyo reporter you are garbage for trying to give US service members a bad name. I hope karma comes and gets you. You deserve it…

    • You mean, like, their Island could be overrun and occupied by some disrespectful cretinous children of a nation who will abuse their people and environment? All because some nearby neighbor, who had already dominated their island, was stupid enough to pick a fight with the other nation? Seems like Karma owes them for the last 70-75 years anyway.
I’m pretty sure the Okinawa police would have done their due diligence before accusing an American GI. How the headline reads is really a bit nit-picky. Picking a woman up out of a hallway and assuming she was a reasonable place to store his junk was hubris that may cost this sailor his entire future. Once the international charges are over, he will still face court martial.
Behave like an ambassador where ever you go. Innocent until proven guilty is an American right. This is Okinawa. The woman says she was raped, it’s a rape case.
The video of him picking this woman up out of a hallway and taking her into his bed would seem pretty damning. But maybe you have some information that the article didn’t share? Do you know something? We’re you in the hotel too? In his room?
Be the change you want to see in the world, not the controversy. Gaijin are a problem. Be a solution.

    • your American cunts always raping our Asian women and everyone know it. There is no need for allegation. Your cunts have raped countless Okinawans, why not do some research before trying to talk shit

  2. Alex Ju Japanese have bite size carrots (penis) so your cunts be on the prowl looking for military guys.

    • Horrible but true! I work with them and that’s all they talk about is How they want an American Military man. I’m not putting the blame on anyone here but, you really shouldn’t drink to the point where you pass out and have no clue to where you’re at unless you’re with a responsible person. This is really bad judgment on both of their behalf. The Japanese government need to warn them about the danger of drinking until they black out. I see this all the time and I’m like that’s dangerous.

  3. never understood why these fools needed to rape Japanese women.. There are plenty that give it up free

  4. Lol, just look at all the ads on this site “SEX, SEX, SEX and more SEX”. WTF. And I agree, why the need to rape when they give it up so easy. Single, Married it doesn’t matter. And drinking, the majority of them should not be allowed to drink. I feel sorry for the married guys ‘foreigners’ here. Japanese women cannot be trusted and have no clue what it means to be faithful!!!
