TOKYO (TR) – The annual Tori no Ichi festival, held in November on the days of the rooster in the Chinese zodiac, concluded on Saturday in the Asakusa district.
In the vicinity of Otori Shrine and Chokoku Temple, vendors sold colorfully decorated bamboo rakes called kumade, which symbolize the collection of wealth or good fortune.
