YOKOHAMA (TR) – Kanagawa Prefectural Police last week busted a baccarat casino operating illegally in Naka Ward, reports the Kanagawa Shimbun (March 17).

At approximately 1:45 p.m. on March 16, officers from the Isezaki Police Station raided casino Black King and arrested the 41-year-old manager and three male and female employees for operating a wagering facility for profit.

Officers also seized four baccarat tables and one roulette wheel from Black King, which is located on the fourth floor of multi-tenant building.

Six customers were also taken into custody on charges of illegal gambling, according to Fuji News Network (March 17).

According to police, the manager, a Korean national, opened Black King in May of last year.
