Masayuki Takaguchi, a member of the Yamaguchi-gumi, Japan’s largest criminal organization, and another suspect were taken into custody by Osaka prefectural police for violating the Child Welfare Law after arranging sexual encounters between a 17-year-old female high school student and various men.
“The Yamaguchi-gumi is scary, and I felt that I should speak up,” she is quoted by police.
In May, the 60-year-old gang member posted an ad on the Gree gaming site seeking women interested in making 80,000 yen per day. On May 29, Takaguchi allegedly arranged a rendezvous between the student and a man at a hotel in Neyagawa.
“I have no knowledge of this,” Takaguchi is quoted by police.
