TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a medical student from Gunma Prefecture for allegedly stealing clothing from inside a women’s college in Setagaya Ward, reports Fuji News Network (Jan. 27).

In October of last year, Toshitsugu Seto, 27, entered the gymnasium of the college and stole eight items of clothing, including leotards and underwear.

Seto , who has been charged with theft and trespassing, admits to the allegations. “I have an interest in women’s underwear,” the suspect is quoted by police.

On the day of the incident, a festival was taking place at the school. The suspect indicated that he had targeted such a day one occasion in the past for another theft since an outsider can have easy access to the campus.

Police are now investigating whether Seto has participated in other similar crimes.
