TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a door-to-door salesman for allegedly fondling the body of a girl in Akishima City, reports Nippon News Network (Jan. 12).
In May of last year, Kenta Niikura, a 30-year-old who sells bamboo poles used to dry laundry, allegedly grabbed the breasts of the girl, a middle school student, inside her residence.
Niikura, who has been charged with indecent assault, admits to the allegations. “I have an abnormal interest in school girls,” the suspect is quoted by police.
Just prior to the incident, the suspect called out to the girl, who was attired in a gym uniform, from his truck and asked what kind of bamboo pole is used in her residence. He then followed her.
Last month, Niikura was arrested for a similar crime involving a middle school girl in Shizuoka Prefecture.
