TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a 30-year-old man in the attempted theft of women’s underwear who is suspected in a series of flashing incidents, reports Nippon News Network (Oct. 29) .
On the night of October 8, Hiroki Oguchi, a company employee living in Ota Ward, allegedly trespassed into the fourth-floor apartment of two sisters, aged in their 20s, and began rummaging for lingerie and other items in the room of the oldest woman. The suspect then fled the scene via the balcony after the other sister discovered him inside.
Oguchi became a person of interest after officers from the Kamata Police Station examined security camera footage taken in the area and discovered fingerprints at the crime scene.
According to police, Oguchi is under investigation in nine incidents that have taken place near the apartment in which a man has exposed the lower-half of his body.
