
SAGA (TR) – Saga Prefectural Police have launched a pair of investigations following the discovery of two female corpses over a half-day period in a harbor in Imari City, reports the Sankei Shimbun (Sept. 20).
At 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday, a woman’s body, believed to be aged between 50 and 90, was found at a breakwater at Imari Bay. About 12 hours later, another female corpse, possibly aged between 40 and 70, was found along a rocky area about 50 meters away.
Neither body exhibited external wounds.
Police do not suspect foul play in either case and are working to identify the bodies.
