TOKYO (TR) – A man suddenly lost consciousness and died after he punched a man on a train in Setagaya Ward on Saturday, reports TBS News (Mar. 11).
At around noon, the man, aged in his 50s, started inside a car of the Tokyu Denentoshi Line train and punched a male passenger who warned him not to do so. Three other passengers then held him face-down, Tokyo Metropolitan Police said.
The man suddenly lost consciousness and was confirmed dead after he was transported to a hospital.
Police, who will use the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death, are seeking to confirm the man’s identity.
