FUKUOKA (TR) – Fukuoka Prefectural Police have arrested a 47-year-old male office worker for allegedly trespassing into the home of a female subordinate in Fukuoka City.
At the time of the incident, the unnamed suspect was clothed only in his underwear, reports news site KBC (May 31).
At just after noon on May 29, the office worker allegedly entered the residence of his female subordinate, aged in her 20s.
When the woman returned home during her lunch break to retrieve something she had left behind, she found the suspect on the futon in her bedroom, wearing only his underwear.
When questioned by police, the suspect, who lives in Nishi Ward, admitted to charges of trespassing. “I had feelings for the victim,” he said. “I entered her home without permission because I wanted to know more about her.”
According to police, the man broke into the home using a duplicate key. When asked why he had a duplicate key, he said that he had broken into the home without permission in the past and stolen a key.
After the incident, the woman visited a nearby police station with her family to report the matter.
Police are carefully investigating the details of how he obtained the duplicate key and any other crimes he may have committed.
