FUKUI (TR) – Fukui Prefectural Police players are investigating an incident in which a man exposed himself to a female player of Pokemon Go on a street in Sabae City, reports the Fukui Shimbun (July 28).
At 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday, a man approached the girl, a high school student, as she played the popular smartphone game alone in the Shimonodacho area and revealed the lower-half of his body. He then fled the scene.
According to police, the man is believed to be aged between 30 and 50. He was wearing shorts, a t-shirt and a hat. He stands approximately 170 centimeters in height.
A representative of the police advised persons out alone at night to use caution. “If one encounters a suspicious person, either immediately run away, loudly scream for help or phone in a report to police,” the representative said.
