SOUTH KOREA (TR) – Police in Busan are investigating an incident in which a Japanese man allegedly urinated on the belongings of a Chinese female tourist.
According to local police, on April 15, a report was received that the man had urinated on the bed and belongings of the woman in the same room at a guesthouse.
When police officers arrived and questioned the man, he reportedly expressed his intention to compensate for the incident. The Chinese woman also claims that the man touched her body inappropriately.
Police have requested the man, who has already returned to Japan, to come forward. They are investigating whether his actions constitute a sexual offense.
The woman posted about the incident on Chinese social media. The post has been viewed over 30 million times, raising questions about the police response and investigation.
Local police stated, “We took the necessary measures at the scene. We will proceed with the investigation in accordance with the law and procedures.”
