On Saturday, officers took the managers of En Deri, Hideki Katagiri, 28, and Akihiro Suzumura, 31, and three others employees into custody for allegedly dispatching a 19-year-old girl to a male customer for a sexual encounter in violation of the Anti-Prostitution Law.
All five employees of En Deri, which is located in the Dogenzaka area, have reportedly admitted to the allegations.
Suzumura recruited customers by pretending to be a female contributor on deai-kei “encounter” matchmaking sites. The messages sought males interested in participating in a relationship based on enjo kosai, or compensated dating.
According to investigators, the club collected 700,000 yen in revenue each month.
