HIROSHIMA (TR) – Hiroshima Prefectural Police have arrested the 37-year-old manager of a commercial sex parlor for allegedly dumping the body of a female acquaintance in Onomichi City, reports Fuji News Network (Mar. 3).

In early January, Yuichi Hiroyasu, who runs a parlor in Fukuyama City, placed the body of Aki Ohashi, 39, in a plastic box (measuring one meter in length) and dumped it in a forest in the Haradacho Kajiyamada area.

Upon its discovery by police, the body did not exhibit any external wounds.

Hiroyasu, who has been charged with abandoning a corpse, admits to the allegations. Under police questioning, he also hinted at involvement in the murder of Ohashi.

Ohashi lived with her two children. On February 17, the victim’s older brother contacted police after he realized she was missing and her children were left alone, according to the Asahi Shimbun (Mar. 3).

On Wednesday, police visited the suspect after learning of his most recent contact with the victim. He then told them the location of her corpse.

According to Nippon News Network (Mar. 3), Hiroyasu had been extended loans by Ohashi that total more than one million yen.
