TOKYO (TR) – Rumors are circulating that gravure idol Miu Nakamura is to make her adult video (AV) debut later this year, a development that would make her the latest show biz personality to enter the industry, reports Tokyo Sports (Apr. 20).
An industry source tells the evening tabloid that Nakamura, 26, will star in a DVD to be released by label Muteki in May or June.
In 2005, Nakamura appeared in her first erotic DVD at the age of 14. Titled “Fairy,” the disc features her provocative bathing suits. The following year, she was crowned “Miss Young Magazine,” a contest sponsored by publisher Kodansha.
In 2011, she starred in horror film “Tomie Unlimited” and appeared in her first nude photo collection. She announced her retirement the following year, later saying that she had gotten married and had a baby.
If Nakamura does indeed enter the AV industry, she will be the latest entertainer to appear in a production for Muteki. In October, Anri Sakaguchi joined Shoko Takahashi and Yua Mikami as celebrities who have made their debut for the label within the last several years.
When reached for comment by the paper, a representative of Muteki did not offer comment on the speculation. Nakamura’s agency as well did not respond to an inquiry.
