GIFU (TR) – Gifu Prefectural Police have launched an investigation following the discovery of three adult bodies inside a locked residence in Ogaki City, reports TV Asahi (May 25).
At approximately 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, a female relative of the occupants contacted emergency services to request a welfare check.
Upon entering the premises, responding officers discovered the bodies of a man and a woman in their 70s or 80s, along with another man in his 50s or 60s.
According to police, none of the bodies exhibited any noticeable external injuries. The residence was completely locked at the time of discovery. Investigators found no signs of a physical struggle or foul play inside the home.
Authorities have been unable to establish contact with the elderly couple and their eldest son who reside at the property.
Police are currently working to officially identify the deceased while investigating the exact time and cause of death.
