IBARAKI (TR) – Police have here arrested a 20-year-old unemployed man for allegedly assaulting four elementary school boys by throwing them to the ground at a park, reports Nippon News Network (May 22).
Ryusei Miyamoto is accused of approaching the unacquainted boys while they were playing at a park in Inashiki City last month.
Upon his arrest, Miyamoto, who lives in the village of Miho, admitted to the allegations. “I injured them by doing things like a shoulder throw,” the suspect told investigators.

Prior to the incident, the suspect initiated a conversation with the children. He then inexplicably began a violent assault, which included lifting the boys and slamming them into the dirt using a seoi-nage (over-the-shoulder) judo throw.
The four boys sustained injuries including bruises and sprains, which required approximately two weeks of recovery time, police said.
Police are currently investigating the circumstances and motive behind the unprovoked attack.
