OSAKA (TR) – Police in Higashiosaka City have launched an investigation after the decomposing bodies of a man and a woman were discovered inside a parked car, reports TV Asahi (May 12).
At approximately noon on Tuesday, a passerby contacted emergency services, reporting that “people are dead inside a car” parked along a local street.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the two bodies inside a light passenger vehicle. According to police, the deceased man was located in the driver’s seat, while the woman was found in the front passenger seat.
Authorities noted that the corpses already showed signs of decomposition, indicating they had been dead for some time before the discovery was made.
Police are currently rushing to identify the deceased and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths, including whether foul play was involved.
