HOKKAIDO (TR) – Hokkaido Prefectural Police suspect that a shattered window at a gang office in Asahikawa City is yet another incident connected to last year’s split of the Yamaguchi-gumi, reports TBS News (May 2).
At approximately 5:00 a.m. on Monday, an unknown perpetrator threw a concrete block, measuring 20 centimeters in length, through a glass window of an office of the Kyokudo-kai, a Yamaguchi-gumi associate.
No persons were inside the office at the time of the attack.
In March, a vehicle plowed into the home of the chairman of a Kobe Yamaguchi-gumi affiliate in Asahikawa. That same month, the same office hit by the concrete block received damage from a thrown fire extinguisher.
