Tokyo police arrest manager of Ueno sex club for assaulting customers

TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Saturday arrested employees of a sex club in Taito Ward for assaulting customers last month, reports Yomiuri Shimbun (Nov. 29).

At approximately 11:55 p.m. on October 3, Katsumi Ishikawa, the 35-year-old manager of club High Tension, located in the Ueno district, street tout Yutaka Hosobuchi, 37, and one other employee are alleged to have beaten two male office workers, aged 35 and 32, in the street in front of the shop after a dispute over payment occurred.

According to police, the two customers had agreed to a fee of 5,000 yen prior to entering the club. But once inside additional charges were applied by the club’s personnel.

During the assault, the 35-year-old male received a cerebral contusion while the other victim sustained minor injuries.

All three suspects have admitted to the allegations.
