Reigning adult video queen Saori Hara is now lending a hand, so to speak, to the promotion of the online voting for the upcoming and much heralded Sky PerfecTV! Adult Broadcasting Awards, reports weekly tabloid Shukan Taishu (Jan. 31).

Hara, who took the Best Actress title last year, made a PR trip to the Taishu editorial offices while outfitted in a tank top and hot pants. She expects a very competitive vote.

“All the contestants this year are very cute and beautiful,” Hara says. “They really take my breath away.”

She adds that the significance of winning the Best Actress award has finally resonated with her through the passage of time.

“I didn’t feel like it was me at that moment of the ceremony,” she remembers, “but gradually I’ve started to feel that reality as time has gone by.”

Among those looking to snatch Hara’s crown are Jessica Kizaki and Azumi Harusaki. In the competition for Best New Actress, most notable is Nina, who debuted last September under the production of disgraced Livedoor founder, Takafumi Horie.

The deadline for ballot submission is February 7. The event will take place in March.

Hi TR – Thanks for the article on the AV Awards show.

    1. I tried to choose one of the five best actress contestants. The steps say a) check out the profiles of the final five b) click the “nominate” button and c) finished. However, I don’t see where there’s an actual “nomination submitted” button. Am I missing something?

    2. I would love to attend the 3/7 happening. How does one go about applying/buying tickets?

Thanks as always for your site.

    Denny
