Rio claims top prize at 2008 adult broadcasting awards

TOKYO (TR) – Adult video actress Rio of satellite channel Cherry Bomb was crowned Best Actress at the Sky PerfecTV! adult awards in Shibuya on Tuesday.

Held in a theater within the love hotel area of Tokyo’s Shibuya district, the annual event — titled “Eroide Onna Matsuri” (Erotic Ladies Festival) — was a mix of ceremonies and competitions for the hottest female talent from the roster of adult channels on satellite broadcasters Sky PerfecTV! and jSAT.

Rio, formerly known as Tina Yuzuki, made her AV debut in the feature “Hot Wind” in 2005.

Yuma Asami, who took the Most Appearances title, wooed the crowd numerous times by bending over to reveal the tops of her 96 cm breasts.

Excluding Asami’s cumulative award, the winners were determined through a combination of Web and committee voting that took into account the roughly 10,000 programs broadcast last year.

The ceremony concluded with a panty-throw to the audience and Rio and Asami posed at the edge of the stage to accept congratulatory applause.
