HYOGO (TR) – A woman stabbed her husband in the chest with an ice pick in his sleep and turned herself in, police said on Sunday.

Hyogo Prefectural Police charged the 59-year-old woman with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing her 61-year-old husband in their home in Takasago City at around 11:25 p.m. on Saturday, the Sankei Shimbun reports (Dec. 12).

The woman turned herself in at Takasago Police Station, saying she “stabbed my husband.”
