TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Tuesday arrested a 26-year-old female for assaulting an employee of a karaoke parlor in Meguro Ward, reports TBS News (July 21).

Just after midnight, Tomoki Imaizumi, a nail artist employed in Shibuya Ward, exited the parlor without paying a bill for approximately 9,000 yen. She then kicked the employee, a 19-year-oid male, in the groin and struck his head after he chased her down.

Imaizumi, who was drunk at the time of the incident, denies the allegations, telling police she did not assault the employee.

After leaving an izakaya restaurant at approximately 8:30 p.m. the night before, the suspect then entered the parlor and proceeded to order glasses of tequila.
