TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a 43-year-old construction worker over threats he allegedly made to a woman he met online, reports Nippon News Network (Sept. 7).
On Monday, Akira Tsujimoto allegedly sent threats to the woman, aged in her 40s, via a social networking service. “I’ll definitely kill you,” he wrote. “I’ll drive you into a corner to kill you!!!”
Tsujimoto admits to the allegations.
The suspect met the victim on a site for those interested in konkatsu, or seeking marriage. On one occasion, he reportedly strangled the woman. The threatening messages were sent after the couple quarreled over ending their relationship.
