TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested an American male in a drunken-driving incident that left a motorcyclist dead in Machida City, reports TV Asahi (Mar. 13).

At just before 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, a passenger vehicle driven by Ryan Brown, a 27-year-old construction worker, stuck and killed Akinobu Mori, 41, on a road in the Kanaimachi area.

Brown, who was traveling on the wrong side of the road at the time of the accident, admits to the allegations, telling police that he had been drinking.

A breathalyzer test revealed the suspect’s blood-alcohol level to be four times the legal limit.
