IBARAKI (TR) – Ibaraki Prefectural Police seeking the person or persons responsible for the theft of 10 million yen in cash from a safe belonging to a male construction company president in Omitama City, reports Fuji News Network (July 5).

On Tuesday at just before 5:00 a.m., the president, 71, noticed a broken pane of glass in the living room of the residence, which also serves as an office, and the disappearance of around 10 million yen in cash from a safe in a closet.

There was no indication that the safe had been pried open in the theft of the money.

It is believed that the theft took place sometime between 11:00 p.m. the day before and the following morning.
