AICHI (TR) – Aichi Prefectural Police have launched an investigation following the discovery of a woman’s corpse in a field in Toyota City, reports Nippon News Network (April 27).
At approximately 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the wife of the owner of an agricultural field, located in the Jumokucho area, discovered the body at the edge of some shrubbery. One portion of the corpse, which was covered by a white cloth, had turned skeletal.
According to police, the body measures approximately 165 centimeters in height. The top of the body was clothed in a hooded sweatshirt. She was not wearing a skirt, underwear or shoes. Her age is estimated at between 20 and 50.
The results of an autopsy revealed that the person died between three months and one year ago. The body did not contain any external wounds.
Police are now seeking to identify the corpse.
