AICHI (TR) – Aichi Prefectural Police have arrested three fireman stationed in Gamagori City who are alleged to have abused and sexually assaulted a male subordinate, reports the Nippon News Network (May 16).

On March 5, Shintaro Sugiya, 38, Yoshitsugu Kanazawa, 35, and Keita Togari, 26, collectively participated in blowing into a rubber first-aid tube that had been inserted inside the body of the colleague, aged in his 20s, while he was pinned down. The man was not injured in the incidents.

All three of the suspects, each of whom is stationed at the Eastern Branch of the Gamagori Fire Department, admit to the allegations. “It started as a prank and then escalated,” one of the suspects is quoted by officers from the Gamagori Police Station.

Another suspect said that he followed the orders of his superior, who is among those arrested.”He is frightening. We obeyed the order reluctantly,” the suspect is quoted, according to the Yomiuri Shimbun (May 16).
