TOCHIGI (TR) – Tochigi Prefectural Police are investigating a robbery in which 45 million yen was stolen from a married couple’s home while they were on a vacation for New Year’s, reports the Sankei Shimbun (Jan. 3).
Between December 29 and the night of January 2, an intruder entered the home of the couple, a doctor, 75, and his wife, and stole a total of 45.06 million yen from multiple locations inside a bedroom, including dresser drawers.
