HYOGO (TR) – Hyogo Prefectural Police have arrested three persons in the robbery of more nearly 2.4 million yen from a pachinko parlor in Toyooka City earlier this year, reports the Sankei Shimbun (Sept. 6).
At around 10:55 p.m. on March 7, Naoya Kyoya, a 24-year-old scaffolding worker, and two other persons allegedly thrust a knife in front of a 57-year-old female employee at an exchange window at Pachinko Mura, located in the Kotobukicho area, while threatening “to kill” her.
The suspects made off with around 2.35 million yen before fleeing the parlor in a passenger vehicle.
Police used security camera footage taken in the area to apprehend the suspects.
Kyoya, a resident of Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, was arrested on Tuesday on robbery charges. The other two suspects have already been prosecuted in the crime.
