KANAGAWA (TR) – Kanagawa Prefectural Police arrested a 71-year-old woman for abandoning a man’s body at her home in Kawasaki City’s Saiwai Ward.
At around 4:30 p.m. on March 27, police received a call from the uncle of Hiroko Yusa. He informed them that the body was on the first floor of the two-story house, reports TV Kanagawa (Mar. 28).
During questioning, Yusa admitted to allegations of abandoning a corpse. “The body had been cold since around February 17,” she said.
Police will use the results of an autopsy to confirm the identity of the body.
