Saitama: Elderly man accused of raping male money collector ‘couldn’t control sexual desire’

SAITAMA (TR) – Saitama Prefectural Police have arrested a 70-year-old man over the alleged rape of a second man at the suspect’s residence in Misato City on Friday, reports TBS News (April 29).

Over an approximately 30-minute period from 2:00 p.m., Toshio Aoyama, 70, of no known occupation, is alleged to have sexually assaulted the second man after the victim visited the suspect’s residence for money collection.

Upon his arrest on suspicion of forcible sexual intercourse, Aoyama admitted to the allegations. “[The victim] gave me sexual excitement,” Aoyama was quoted. “I couldn’t control my sexual desire.”

The matter emerged after a person connected to the victim alerted police immediately after the alleged crime.
