Manhunt underway after robbery of Okayama precious metals store

OKAYAMA (TR) – Okayama Prefectural Police are hunting for a man who robbed a precious metals buying shop in Okayama City last week, reports TV Asahi (May 17).

The perpetrator then fled the scene on foot to the north with about 700,000 yen in cash. There were no customers in the shop at the time, and the male clerk was not injured, the Okayama Nishi Police Station said.
