Chinese woman running illegal Saitama sex business accused of fatally stabbing customer

SAITAMA (TR) – Saitama Prefectural Police have arrested a Chinese woman operating an illegal sex business from an apartment building in Tokorozawa City over the alleged fatal stabbing of a male customer last year.

According to police, Wang Xueyun, 36, used a knife to stab a 25-year-old male office worker from Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture after getting into a dispute about money on the night of December 26.

Upon her arrest on suspicion of murder on February 13, Wang declined to comment. “I don’t want to say anything,” she said, according to the Asahi Shimbun (Feb. 14).

At around 9:30 p.m. on December 26, the man was found bleeding heavily and unconscious near the entrance to the first floor of the apartment building in Higashisumiyoshi Ward. He was later confirmed dead.

Based on security camera footage, the man is known to have visited unit 307 on the third floor of the building just minutes before he was found collapsed.

Wang had a contract to rent that unit for three months, spanning from the November 1 to January 31 of this year. After the incident, her whereabouts were unknown.

Several days later, police apprehended Wang in Fukui Prefecture on suspicion of immigration-related violations.

According to investigators, Wang is believed to have been running an illegal sex business from the apartment.

They further believe that the man visited her as a customer, which led to the dispute over money.

When Wang was detained, there were bruises on her face. Police are investigating the details of the incident, believing there is a possibility that she may have been injured by the man.
